Q: How much previous construction experience do you have?
A: I have little experience, but finished a basement.
Q. How would you describe The Deck Store materials?
A: Excellent. A few boards had some flaws, but most were very good.
Q: What would you say about the services offered by The Deck Store?
A: Good. I had only one frustration with returning a phone call.
Q: How accurate was the material estimate to actual construction; did you have a return?
A: Very close. I had some returns and I made some additional purchases.
Q: Were you able to promptly communicate with us to answer questions or make additional deliveries during your project?
A: Yes, most of the time. I called at different stages durig the process.
Q: What was your greatest challenge?
A: Building the cascading stairs and dealing with the different angles and the slope of the patio.
Q: How long did it take you to create your deck?
A: It took just over two years to finish, as we did the patio in the Fall and finished the stairs in the Spring.
Q: How would you describe the overall quality of your finished project?
A: Very Happy! The inspector commented that this deck was one of the nicest "home owner" built decks he has seen.
