MC DIY Project Survey

Q: How much previous construction experience do you have?
A: This was my 3rd deck. First deck using Geo Deck. Easy to work with, low maintenance and looks great.

Q. How would you describe the quality of The Deck Store materials?
A: Excellent quality, no need to sort through the materials.

Q: If you were running The Deck Store, what would you change?
A: Request more upfront dimensions to ensure the AutoCad drawings match the property.

Q: If you were running The Deck Store, what would you keep the same?
A: Great customer focus. Continue to be available for questions — no matter how small.

Q: What would you say about the services offered by The Deck Store?
A: A cut above. They were friendly, knowledgeable and did not hesitate in the least on returns or exchanges. Many clever ideas on creating a custom deck. I would refer them to anyone without hesitation.

Q: How useful were our custom AutoCad drawings?
A: Some initial difficulty due to lack of proper dimensions — of which I share fault. They were happy to correct in short order and turned out to be very useful — to locate posts in particular. Made the city permit process a breeze.

Q: How accurate was the material estimate to actual construction; did you have a return?
A: Minimal, no hassle returns.

Q: Were you able to promptly communicate with us to answer questions or make additional deliveries during your project?
A: I visited the store often with questions which were promptly answered. Additional materials could be taken home on the spot or delivered to meet my needs.

Q: What was your greatest challenge?
A: Stairs — secure the strongers once cut, or install the risers and treads quickly — as they tend to warp.

Q: How long did it take you to create your deck?
A: Three months.

Q: How would you describe the overall quality of your finished project?
A: Better than could be imagined. We enjoy it greatly and added to the home immediate equity.
